Friend stepped in off front porch this morning and slipped my on ice, went down extremely hard.
He was on the way for MRI so they checked ribs, 3 breaks and 4 fractures. Ouch.
I swear he can't catch a break(no pun intended). Friday was told liver very bad, no more chemo or radiation treatments so it is what it is I guess. He won't tell me how long they expect him to live but he mentioned 5 years. Time to will tell I suppose.

The exact same thing happened to me Saturday. I see the IRS envelope in my stack of mail and immediately said "oh great". Then I see what it was. It took them nearly seven months to mail my refund to me. I didn't think about checking the amount the check. At that point I didn't care.
