comes right from the mouth of a good friend and well respected captain in a large metropolitan PD that I know.

That right there said volumes to me, but as his friend, I just shrugged it off, not believing that he just said that to me.
Cops are starting to be brought down to who they really should be due to the eye in the sky and they don't like it.

back in early 90s chicago had a cerfew law and cops would take you in and a parent or who you were living with had to come pick you up. Word got around whwre cops would scoop you up and drop you off in different neighborhoods where your bound to get jumped.

Also a time me and a few friends were hanging in a parking lot of a closed dept store and a uc pulls up. We didnt know they were uc and plain clothes cop came out and puched my buddy got back in and they left. Another time behind a 711 I was with a buddy probably 12 or 13yrs old at the time and my buddy had a raiders hat on. Cop asked him if he was in a gang and why he had a raiders hat on. This is when nwa came out and raiders hat was what one of the rappers wore but rap was looked at as gang affiliated since it was somewhat new. Anyways he grabbed my buddys neck for a few seconds and took his hat and left.

Some of you see is officer friendly coming to your schools and smiling waving saying hi. But you better believe before cameras there were some shady ass cops out there. Some not all not most not half but some before any of you jump to conclusions.

By doing this, the situation ended badly.
What would I do? I'm not a cop, therefore I don't have that sort of training or skill set, so I would have watched the cops handle it.
Like I said before. I don't get paid for that shit, they do.
The woman was clearly terrified in that video. She had no business being there. The other two guys just stood there when they should have been neutralizing the situation while hands were up. Someone on PCP wouldn't even have complied to that order. They had plenty of time to take that scumbag down before he got back to the car.

Around 2 years ago had the ticket for the $00.15 toll for the Lackawanna, NY toll barrier. I got boxed in by semi and went thru an EZ-Pass lane by mistake.

Called the Thruway immediately and was told to wait for the bad boy letter, give a written explanation and asked the fine be excused. They accepted my excuse and I gave them the toll ticket and a check for $00.15.

That's almost exactly my scenario on the AC Expressway, 4th of July weekend. No semi, but a bunch of crazy 4th of July drivers. I simply was all the way to the left and couldn't safely get over. I was told the same thing, did what you did, including attaching the $.75 paid receipt, and they denied my explanation.
That $50.75 will be the last tourist dollars that NJ ever sees from me.

I live probably 15 minutes from the toll plaza that you got nailed at.

He wouldn't "stop" and from the angle the female cop was at, she couldn't see that the window was "closed".

If I was on the jury, I would consider her innocent.

Like others have said in this thread, I wouldn't be a cop for all the money in the world right now.
