After having a 100'+ driveway in concrete...

No way I'll do it again. When I replace it, and I eventually will, it will be asphalt up to concrete pads around the garages.

I'm at 7600' and I wish I would have done asphalt for the main driveway. We don't use it as a parking lot, ever. Build enough space inside on concrete in garages and leave the driveway to asphalt.

While there are asphalt scammers out there as well, the quality of concrete work has gone into the shitter unless you find a unicorn.

My clay in VA moved enough that I would never have put concrete down. I should have done the same in CO.

I'm looking at about 500-600 foot of driveway at my new place. It will be gravel. But as you said, I'll have concrete slabs at the garage entry and the barn.
