That's the only wild animal I was scared of when hiking in the wilderness in Colorado. I've run into bears, wolves, coyotes and other wild animals and generally they're as scared of humans as humans are scared of them. Mountain lions are the only animal in the U.S. I know of that will stalk a human and kill them for food, and you'll likely never see it until it's on you.

What are you referencing when you say it’s not going to happen? What is the something you are speaking about?

Home invasion? Assault? Sexual assault? Robbery?

I think that there is a difference between fearing something like a home invasion (as an example) happening versus wanting to have the ability to defend yourself in the event it does happen. Because you keep saying it’s not going to happen, but the real and factual crime statistics prove that it is a possibility. Just like getting in a car accident or having a residential fire is a real possibility.

I get that you are trying to get under people’s skin with the “No fear” label. And as you can see, it is working in some instances.

But you’re trying to gaslight people by diminishing their planning (against crime) while promoting your planning (car accident, home fire). Just because you no longer own firearms (you don’t have the option to legally get them back, actually) does not make your opinion on firearms more valid than someone else’s.

You’re trying to invalidate people by attempting to make them feel unreasonable about something that you feel is unreasonable. Your perspective is valid…but so is theirs.
