Default Need help, Wifey's BDay tomorrow, which gift??
Wife celebrates another one tomorrow, I have skipped my last 10+, she is getting old.

Picking up Outback after I leave office, her request, they will eff up my order, but hey it's on her.

She said no cake, something about watching her calories, screw that, I am also hitting Publix for that very most excellent Chocolate Ganache Supreme Cake, the big one, it will be mine for about a week, sucks that my dogs cannot share in my chocolate joy.

Now the tough part, what to get here, she wants $55+K for a pool, been in the house 22 years, the pool is not an option now, all three daughters are on their own, plus that would add a monthly bill for some dumbarse pool cleaner I would have to fire every other month. House is completely remodeled, so no options there, unless I put a lift in the garage, that would be sweet.

So I am thinking either a new fishing pole, or a ProCharger for 'our'--that's funny, Z06, or maybe a new driver and fairway woods, or another stool for the bar. Of course none would be anything she would use, but would allow me to be more joyful, which in many ways benefit her.

Let me know, this is tough, as I need her to be happy,,, thanks.

AND, big AND, I think she TOOK my handheld that I used on my cars, as looked for this past weekend and could not locate.

55k for a pool is a good deal around here. I had a quote a couple months ago at 120k

We have a vacation at end of month, to Maine, 8 days, now that I think about it I paid for all of it with my double points card,,, yep, that is her gift, I hope she likes it.

I am in a PUD, lots are about 7K sqft, I am on water so have a 15' easement, so very limited pool size, maybe max would be 32 X 16, my neighbor did one three years ago for $45K, so I figure $55K allows for some options and hoepfully travertine deck.

I see no use for a pool, I am looking to buy my last house, need about 1,200 living sqft and a 30-car garage with a man cave, I may never go into the house!!

At $120K you should be getting a great pool, congrats, we can probably have the First Annual Vette Barn Summer Fiesta Picnic Extravaganza at your place!!

Cheaper to downsize and find an unknown house and then start finishing to your liking w Pool

Hire a couple local singers to follow you home with dinner. Have them walk in behind you to different rooms in the house, then start singing some love song and walking to the kitchen where they form a small chorus.
