Got the blooming fried shrimp instead, it suck, should have gotten the onion.

Like most restaurants today, the prices are up AND the quality is down.

I am the original cheap bastard, but will be dining out much less as this economy craters, as there is NOTHING I can make at home that will taste much better AND cost less.

I never eat out now... Been 10 years since had a steak out at restaurant.
I just buy good steaks and ribs amd make at home, which isn't often with prices now(actually almost never now).
Outback is horrible...

Yep, when you account for the drive time, wait time for your meal, ever-increasing prices, taxes and tip, there is no good points in dining out unless you have a great restaurant that consistently meets your needs.

I have a Weber and a Traeger, and tons of pots and pans and grill skillets and kitchen crap, anything I can get in a restaurant can be made much better and cheaper at home.

outback used to have consistency, but that now is gone.

Yep, Costco and Publix both have great beef and seafood offerings, that is how I will do it (more) in the future.

The only takeout I'll do is a sammich. Or Chinese if the wife is buying. I hate when hot food is cold, especially things like fries, or bloomin' onion. Or steak. WhoTF orders steak for takeout?
