Yeah, ok....so I have like 436 new cousins since I got married, I assume there are more that I have not met

Sounds like it will be safe to say cousins will come out of nowhere if we become serious. She doesn't have any brothers or sisters so I didn't think much about the extended family.

My wife's Facebook account blew up almost immediately after she created it. She gets multiple friend requests every day from young "relatives". She's always having to ask them, Who's your Daddy, or who's your Momma" because she has no idea who these kids are!

I googled it, I kept on reading it was a sign of respect to an elder. I might be older than the Mom, would that be an insult or would it still be a sign of respect since she is the mother.

In South Korea it was respect to an elder. Disrespectful to suggest someone was older if they were actually younger. In reality, they knew it was an American trying to show respect to the family so it wasn't a big deal.

A lot less than you, apparantly. Finally retired a few weeks ago. Now have leasure time ( to run errands, etc) still have the supercharged 2006, but seldom use it anymore, due to having an auto 2011 Grand Sport I enjoy driving more. Taking care of my wife etc, etc.
I kind of envy you moving forward to your new life. Sounds interesting.

I hope you got the bugs worked out with your 2006 Vette. My 08 is on jack stands, I couldn't bring it to Germany it is to loud but these Autobahns would be great to have the Vette here.

Been pretty busy, moved from VA to CO, then back to VA, now I am in Germany.

Got the overdue divorce done and decided to take a job in Germany to get away from the X.

Wasn't planning on meeting such a lovely women, but looks like I might be blessed with an incredible gf, probably more.

Things seem to be working out for me at this time, I hope my good luck continues.

Distance can throw a big ol wrench in the works.

I have a close friend who traveled down the road you are beginning a couple of times. Long story short he's still single.

I could go into more details but not in public. PM if interested in a few stories. Some good and some not so good and one so odd you couldn't make up.

My business partner, a multiple divorcee, married a Philipina and brought her back. Spent thousands having her teeth fixed, thousands more on training to be a dialasis (sp?) tech only to have her not take the licensing exam and not get a job, more money sent back to the old country to support the family that always seems to need something that US dollars can fix, and discovers later on she's cheating on him. Of course, he was old enough to be her father, maybe grandfather. She was around the same age as his kids.

The biggest export the Phillipines has is probably people, who work overseas and send money back. Some work on ships, some work in other countries (we have a bunch of Philipino nurses here in the US), and some do it the old fashioned way, by marrying their meal ticket.

Use caution, OP. You WILL be a meal ticket, but you might not get a loyal, traditional submissive wife out of the deal. Then again, maybe you will.
