My wife had been making a little noise about getting one of these for a couple years. I wasn't convinced, but finally caved.

One of the best dogs we have ever owned. He's also the first dog we sent to Westminster.

Exposure is really the issue here. Black dogs will trick your camera light meter to OVEREXPOSE the dog. That means dial in some -Ev. Start with one stop and make adjustments from there.

Also, ALWAYS focus on the dogs eyes. Just like shooting people.
