Default Photography is stupid!
Thank you for reading my rant! My wife just submitted a formal request for a new lens. I am weighing the options. $1500 vs sleeping on the couch. This would bring the grand total to about 4k this year. I would like to request a moment of silence for my hobbies that I will never afford again.

Well, it will be either Nikon 24-70 f/2.8 @ 1800 or the 85mm AF/1.4 prime @ $1400. Forgive me if that didn't make sense, I have no idea what most of that means.

She ordered the 24-70 lens. It gets really good reviews, but I think it should for that price.

I like the 17-55 2.8 better. It's what I keep on the camera 90% of the time.
