Default It moves

I posted a thread of this CNC router build a few weeks ago. Now it’s done and runs great. I tried to post a short video, but apparently the file is too big to upload here.

Congrats on the build

Easy to program or you still learning the program?

Basic stuff is not too bad, but the CAD program (I’m using Aspire) is like Photoshop - immense possibilities, but basic shape design not too bad. Additionally, there is the program that runs the g-code that drives the machine. There again, the analogy is like knowing how to drive a car, or learning how to build an engine. I’m a student driver!

Gatton CNC. Dave Gatton sells the pre-cut wooden parts with a complete build sheet and links to resources for the hardware and electronics. There is a very helpful Facebook group as well.

Canned cycles on it? If so, learn them as it will make you life MUCH easier.
