Gorgeous sun rise One of the things I miss from my days of living beach side....although I don't think I ever woke up before sunrise I did party many nights until then.

If you ever get the chance, take a drive to Bar Harbor, Maine and Acadia National Park.

Drive up Cadillac Mountain. Get there early, like 3:30/4:00am... and wait... watch the sun rise over the Atlantic, and then, as soon as the orb of the sun clears the horizon, drive back down the mountain.

As you drive down the mountain, the sun will set... and shortly after you get to the bottom, it will rise again.

Damned thing I ever saw...

we put the dune fences up to catch sand and build up the dunes.

They are sand dune fences. They are to keep people off the dunes, help the dunes from blowing/washing away.
