Ya, I'd sell the wing to recoup some of the 3rd and 4th mortgage that I would have to take to buy that.

Saweet !

BMW says the M4 GTS will run the infamous Nürburgring Nordschleife in 7 minutes and 28 seconds.
WILL or DID?

For a car on 265 series street tires and 493 horsepower (at ~3,500lbs with driver) ... that's a pretty bold claim.

Nice catch. Marketing says that fast and then the rubber meets the road.

Is it just me, or is that body style awfully busy? Almost like there were a few design teams involved, and they didn't talk to each other.

Compare that to a '14 M3 coupe. Look how clean and tidy that design is.

On that same note, I'm gonna say straight-up Ford has the better looking coupe. First time in decades they could claim that.

I had to put my car in the shop a while back for hail damage. I ended up renting a Camaro and a Mustang. The Camaro interior was laid out like a drunken blind engineer. Two examples; the hand brake is on the passenger side. Why? To me, it's odd to have to reach to the passenger side for the hand brake. Also, the headlight control is on the left and pushed all the way against the steering wheel column. To see what selection the headlights were on, I had to contort my body. Imagine trying to do that and drive. It's a good thing I was stopped already.
Both rental cars were the V6 since V8s are not available. The two were similar in performance and suspension. Also, I walked around and around both cars at different times and even knelt often to take in as much as possible. The Mustang just had "it" well over the Camaro.

Wrapup; the Mustang has "it" while the Camaro doesn't.

That's my unpaid and unprofessional opinion. YMMV.

Now back to the M4. It's been a few days for everything to sink in. I'm beginning to not like the wing. Is it actually for performance or is it only for aesthetics? If for performance, I'd like to see an effective spoiler. That might be better than a huge wing.

*sigh* it appears that the joy of rowing the gears in such a fine piece of machinery will be relegated to history.

And the 'Stang's bold, European style house cues drew a lot of shit from Pony Car purists, too. A bold gambit by Ford that paid off.
