A way to trick the auto stop is stop and let off the brake real quick, it won't restart. My Trackhawk does not have that crap on it. The Transit Connect does but you can disable it in the Sync. Wife's TrailBlazer SS is old school. I forget to put the key in at times and have to dig it out of my pocket, so use to the push button.

I have owned two BMW's, won't own another for sure.

Hmm... my crowd pl... uh... Mustang got that "feature" shut all the way off before I left the lot for my test drive or it would never have come home with me. Strange the F series trucks apparently cannot be fully disabled though.

I don't recall the exact details but read manufacturers get EPA "Points" for adding a feature that shuts the engine off at stops lights. The get additional "Points" if the ability to disable the feature resets each time the vehicle is shut off. "Points" = $$.

You can program that feature out... need a PC and an OBDII plug. Go to Forscan.org, download program, get product license (free) and do it.

Works on all Ford products....

On my F150 I’ve
- autofold mirrors
- actual temp above gauges
- dropped double door beep
- allow Nav to occur when vehicle is moving
- set bright light w floods (Bambi mode)
- other changes
