Walking around for a little bit today, everything is cool around here. A lot of police everywhere, not sure they will stick around if things get bad.

I made it to the Philippines.

I flew Singapore Airlines, best service I have seen in many years.

Singapore Airport was amazing, very nice.

I noticed on the plane to Manila it was easy to get eye contact with pretty girls, I am not use to that.

Going through customs in Manila, customs agent was having a hard time taken my picture, he said I was too white and he ended up settling for a crappy casper white picture.

Several hundred people exiting the airport, lady said my name and said she was there to take me to the hotel, they didn't have my picture but maybe they knew casper white dude was coming.

Walked in the hotel, again called me by name.

I found out why the one girl wanted to meet me at the Airport, she has to fly here to meet me. Needless to say, she is on the plane heading here to meet me now. She will be escorting me around here for a week.

Walking around a little today, again very easy to get eye contact with pretty girls.

Absolutely beautiful Filipinos everywhere here.

Dude, the Muslims have been active in Mindanao even when I was stationed there. They were cruising with 50 cals on Jeepneys back then too. Just don't be an American by yourself on your first trip to the P-I in Mindanao. Luzon and the Visayas are good to go. More proof, see what Greenman is writing about Manila.
