If you run out of kids, or don't like them that much, I'll cash any check you send me.

I think the current limit is $14,000 per recipient without triggering gift tax concerns.

My mom was 70. Her mom and dad were both 70. Dad was 61. His mom and dad were 77 and 56. Men from my dad's side didn't live long.
