NY Wants Trump Business to Stay in NY

After fining him over $350M and banning him from conducting business in NY, the AG who brought the charges against Trump is now asking the court to block Trump's businesses from leaving New York.

New York Attorney General Letitia James is asking a judge to block Donald Trump from changing his business address from New York to Florida, arguing that his executives "carry out the business activities" of the Trump Organization at Manhattan's Trump Tower.

In a Thursday letter, James urged Judge Arthur Engoron to "reject Defendants' attempt to change the business address of the six entity Defendants to Florida as the record establishes those entities are located in Trump Tower at 725 5th Avenue in New York, the office building in which the executives who carry out the business activities of those entities work."

You can't make this shit up. After asking the judge to fine Trump and prevent him from conducting business in New York, the same AG has realized the ramifications of all Trump businesses leaving NY and wants the judge to effectively change his mind and order them to stay.

And on the other hand how can a state ban legit businesses for working in their state? And why is over valuing your assets against the law? Right now my house is values around $500K according to the state but to me if you want to buy it it will cost you a lot more than that in my mind. And if banks are giving out loans based on this value then it's up to the banks to make sure the assets value in the open market are close to what the owner states. Then make the decision on giving or denying the owner a loan based on these that.
This was nothing more than a government sanctioned political witch hunt. And now they are going to try and keep Trump from moving his business out on NY? Democrat's are indeed crazy.

Here is a land listing in Palm Beach, 2 acres for $200M

The building on Mar a Lago is 62,500 living, with 126 rooms, has many amenties such as pools, tennis courts, out buildings, driving ways, terraces, etc...
Cost per living sqaure footage, while accounting for amenities and infrastructure and utilities is $2,000/sq foot, so put building at $130M

Using $100M an acre which is $1.7B, and $2,000/liv sqft, value is $130M, puts value at $1.83B.

Add to that you cannot acquire a land parcel of this size, so the market value based on cost approach would increase due to unable to build a similar residence, and no other residence in Palm Beach offers equal acreage or living square footage.

Yeah, the judge and da were right, it is only worth $18M.
