I've done Spring Mountain 3 times, and I do over 130 MPH at the Bay Bottom Crawl (autocross). You don't have to sell my on HPDE. I have skills on a road course as well, and my size as a driver, is less of a penalty.

I predict I'll follow Danny Popp into wheel-2-wheel racing in the next 5-7 years. Autocross is "relatively" inexpensive. I spent over $25,000 in 2009. Road Course racing, especially wheel-2-wheel, is exponentially more expensive. I need to have my ducks in a row before I jump into that gene pool. I know my personality, I'll go for nothing less than being the best and I'll spend myself silly trying to do so.

W2W-yes you will. Don't run NASA or my Chinese BMW buddy will wax your ass. No offense but this guy ruined my stereotype of Oriental drivers.

I thrive off of those who kick my ass and I learn from them. Why do you think I put both the male and female multiple class champions in my car in '09? I got him to set my car up in exchange for a free ride. Now he's back in his ride ('01 Z06) and he can't touch me.

So up to 80 mph? Are yall NCCC insured?

The club I ran with at Grand Sport Motor Speedway, south of Houston, would put up cones on the backside so that verts would have to scrub speed to meet the insurance rules. Interestingly, a lady down the street from me ran down there with her Jag, and that club didn't do that. She ran with her vert with no cones on the track.

The guy's name is Eric Wong. He's pretty well known up my way. It's amazing what he does in a one car garage.

You'll never hit 60 MPH on our AutoX course. We strive for car control and stability. The one course we did have that top speeds hit 85+ we had too many people out of control that we decided to scrub all high speed lanes to car control lanes.

Yea, I run Carbos on street and track. Bobcats on the street (squeaky backing) and XP 12/XP10 on the track. Good brake package. Amisol(sp) brake fluid.

Our speeds can reach over 90 mph in the right car...mine That being said, our venue is very favorable for safe, higher speed events. Most n00bs won't see much more than 70 mph.

Auto-X or road course? A buddy was trying to get me to run the national on the road course sometime in april or may. If ya'll are going to be there, I might do it.

Racing season is almost here!!

Craig, good luck @ Dixie... since it's a nightmare to risk bringning my Zdown from PA that time of year I won't be there, but I'll be doing Dover this year and the Z will be there in Lincoln this year.
