I have tried to give our cat a bath a couple of times over the last 7-8 years and have been unsuccessful.
At 5:50am my 2 yr old son was able to give the cat swimming lessons....in the toilet bowl. He picked the cat up and shoved him the toilet!
The cat is soaking wet and running around the house, the wife is yelling at me to stop laughing.

Bet you that's the last time my boy is able to pick up the cat.

How!? I can't even get the thing near the bath tub when theres water in it.
I gave it a bath ONCE and thats when it was a kitten and we got him, so I gave him a bath with flee stuff to make sure.
The friggin thing locked up on me, I think it was in shock. But I freaked out, it froze and it's eyes were wide open, I thought it was dying.
Ever since then, I can't get it near the bathroom.

I was 4 and had a guinea pig named Jenny. For some reason, my mom gave her a bath in the sink and we blew her hair dry with the low setting. As a 4-yr. old I thought that was fun, so I guess I figured the cat would be fun too! Not....I still have a tiny scar on my wrist.lol

My two year old probably couldn't pick up our cat. She's pretty heavy.

First time I cleaned the fish bowl (5yrs old maybe) I did what I always saw my mom do....pour the dirty water down the disposal.
So I did just that.....fish included. I got a new gold fish a couple of days later

A friend I worked with long ago was worried her little girl was possessed b/c she walked in as her 6-yr. old was cutting her goldfish in half with a pair of children's scissors. She said she wanted to know what it looked like on the inside.haha. She now teaches 2nd grade.

No, but he did say "Bye Bye Kitty!" because he's used to saying "Bye Bye poo poo! Bye Bye pee pee!". He's not strong enough to flush.

Looks like he's familiar with this:

Instructions on how to wash your toilet

1. Put both lids up and add 1/8 cup of pet shampoo to the water.

2. Pick up the cat and soothe him while you carry him towards the bathroom.

3. In one smooth movement, put the cat in the toilet and close both lids. You may need to stand on the lid.

4. The cat will self agitate and make ample suds. Never mind the loud noises, the cat is actually enjoying this.

5. Flush three or four times. This provides a "power-wash" and rinse".

6. Have someone open the front door of your home. Be sure that there are no people between the toilet and the front door.

7. Standing behind as far as you can, and quickly lift both lids.

8. The cat will rocket out out, streak through the room and run outside where he will dry himself off.

9. Both the commode and the cat will be sparkling clean.
