To do list finished
Took the Vette up to the barn this morning to knock out the last two items on my Winter to do list, replace transmission filter / gasket and flush out the old brake fluid.
I needed to replace the trans gasket as the pan had a little leak so I did the filter as well. If anyone ever tells you that the filter seal is a bear to remove they are not joking. Also replaced the brake fluid as the old stuff was black and had gotten moisture in it from the reservoir cap leaking, there were globs of white goo floating in there. I replaced the stock bleeders with speed bleeders which made it so easy. Check out how nasty the old fluid was! All in all it's good to have everything taken care of so I don't have to worry about it any more. Now to put the ACI splitter back on and detail the bejesus out of it for spring. Special thanks to GB for use of the facilities! Last edited by Munch; 03-05-2011 at 5:22pm. |

Well I need to button up a few things like, Installing my LG cats, fitting splash guards, and a tune. Then it'd done for a while.
