Footers:
(25+50)*2 = 150 linear feet of footers

150 * (24/12) * 1 = 300 cu ft of footers 2' tall by 1' wide
300/27 = 11 cu yds for footers

(73+11)*1.05 = 88 cu yds project total, with 5% margin

The stress imparted to a runway is a function of, among others, strut load,
number of tires per strut, tire spacing, tire size, and even tire pressure.

Here are some numbers from Lockheed's "Landing Gear Design Handbook" (1982):

Don't confuse the lumber with the rebar. And buckets have no place in concrete.

I questioned the amount of concrete in this build from the start. But DAB has hired engineers and it is what it is.

We are currently building a pretty simple CMU 2story building. We have placed over 500 yards of concrete in the footers. And the footers are not complete. and 2 flatbed 18wheelers full of reinforce steel.

Engineering must own stock in the concrete biz.

Lots of claims for past poor foundations in the area. This is the market response to that. You can't sue for failure if it doesn't fail.
