Not sure this is the reason, would need proof that this is the logic being used. Haven't seen this anywhere. The unions would be better served if they were apolitical though.

Seems to me they've been spending their time on the budget more than anything else. They could save huge money if they would get rid of the EPA.

Proof that he is doing this? I think he wants to bring business back to Wisconsin. The rest, don't see it. There is no win in it.

Hitler and Stalin have nothing to contribute or to do with the discussion. What does is that our debt is out of control and the government controls 60%+ of the economy. Owning that much means they own it. So they have the responsibility to do the right thing or let it go and let the free market sort it out.

You have a point ... how did Bush & Cheney manage to double the national debt and bankrupt the Federal Govt. ... most finances that can't be accounted for ... while de-regulating the financial sectors to zero transparency to the place that banks could profit by creating a Great Depression never seen before and then create TARP & the Re-investment Act to fix it ... don't tell me it was a conspiracy to blame the liberal socialist/communist/fascists and Obama ...

... maybe McPalin should have come in so you can call them socialists/communists/national socialist fascists who own 60% of the economy ...

Because of researched people like yourself, that doesn't need big brother protecting you from dangers you are already well-aware of.

This is a perspective thing of course, but the EPA is perhaps the biggest contributor to the downfall as our former "supplier to the world" status in heavy industry.
It is extremely sad that it is now more economical for us to have a boatload of steel shipped in from Korea than it is to simply pour and roll it ourselves. Not because of equipment, raw material, or labor shortages, but because of all the regulatory dancing required to be "eco-friendly".

That's not progress. That's bullshit, and that's where the jobs went. Only so many Starbucks clerk jobs are sustainable. America was once the leader in manufacturing, but we gave that away by regulating it out.

We are now more/less confined to the service industry, anything made of material found here today is most likely an import in raw form.

Those tax breaks keep business here and provide companies with the capacity to hire more people. Basic economics.

I swear, I've never gotten anything from Soros and Buffett, but I did send letter asking for a donation.

My families properties butt up against farmland belonging to Warrens brother. My biological father knows him pretty well, says he is s good guy. I just disagree with his politics.

That's what I 'm talking about ... Buchanan gets up there everyday and broadbrushes you all about how Nixon, Reagan and the Bush's were the greatest president's evar ... then when it comes to *micro-analyzing* Clinton & Obama he goes into tirades that are about to give himself an aneurysm ... eyes start blinking all wild, red-faced and hot under the collar ... He looks like he's about to pass-out on the set ...

McCain always does that one real well ... you gotta be a young republican to lie in your face and be cool ... just like Pat and cronys back in the day ..

Yes same (R) shit ... new generation ...

I don't like Buchanan's delivery style nor his emotional outbursts. Now explain to me how Obama's economic policies have improved things since he took office. He has been in for 2 years and things have gotten progressively worse. Unemployment scraping at 10% consistently. Debt increasing daily with no effort to stop it, etc. etc.

No broad brush strokes, let's speak in specifics, if you can.

Wow, and to think, I thought the Decade of Bush had an impact on the last 24 months. Naaa, it was all Obama in 24 months. That's good, if Obama can change the nation for the worse in just 24 months, then he still has the God like powers to fix the Bush F*ck-ups in another 24 months.

Thanks, there's still Hope for Change.

More importantly, I think it's gonna make a certain group of GOP'rs unhappy who came out yesterday and stated the obvious ... *Thanks to the American People who spoke last November, yesterdays unemployment figures and job growth stats shows we're da shit*
