Of course they do. I have a non compete clause and IP clause.

Telling me that if I visit my mother in California I'll be subjected to a non paid quarantine is a new requirement that I've never agreed to, nor is it mandated by any legal authority. If they want me to comply they'll have to greatly increase my pay. If they won't I'll ignore their mandates.

We have a "do not talk to the media" rule at our bakery
And
If I choose to go get tested for the covid just for shits and giggles I can't return to work until I have a negative test results letter
Looks like they are choosing to error on the FAR side of caution

So if you don't get tested that's ok, but if you do get tested you MUST show them the results?

There's no talk of testing at my work at all. Just statements that say if you fly it is high risk and you'll be quarantined when you get back. If they wish to keep me from participating in legal activities when I am off work then they need to compensate me for it.

Here are some examples of what they've deemed safe or high risk.

It's not copying over in a readable format, suffice it to say any public transportation is considered high risk.

How would they know you have been tested unless you told them? I've never had an employer ask what happened at my doctor's appointment or if I even had an appointment, unless there was a work-related reason to.

He got it, gave to his wife. They both got sick as hell. They both were put on vents. When he woke up found out that he lived, she didn’t. He was regretful, but that won’t bring her back. He learned the hard way. His daughter also could not visit either one of them in the hospital.

Is there any proof he got it because of his mask wearing habits, or is it an assumption or case of confusing correlation with causation? And it’s entirely possible, if not likely, that he would have given it to his wife regardless of his public mask wearing habits and attitude.

Without proof it’s simply an anecdotal story used to chastise and scare people. Way too much of that going on right now.

I'm sure this will be considered anectdotal but I've made my position on masks clear. My neighbors next door are the opposite. They wear masks, they mostly work from home. She will bring hand sanitizer to my mom if she finds it out and about. Well they are beside themselves because with all their precautions...they BOTH tested positive and are under quarantine. Just saying.
