A woman has a close male friend. This means that he is probably interested in her, which is why he hangs arounds so much. She sees him strictly as a friend. This always starts out with, "You're a great guy, but I don't like you in that way."

This is roughly he equivalent of the guy going to a job interview and the company saying, "You have a great resume, you have all the qualifications we're looking for, but we're not going to hire you. We will, however, use your resume as a comparison for all other applicants. But we're going to hire someone who is far less qualified and is probably an alcoholic. And if he doesn't work out, we'll hire someone else, but still not you. In fact, we will never hire you. But we will call you from time to time to complain about the person we hired."

Yeh, back in '97 I met a chick like that here, over the .net......

she had a buddy who was a much better dancer, if you know what I mean, but she was not interested either.....

hell with it, hit the net and found Linda....end/Feb it be 13 years married....

that's longer than the kid's mom and I knew each other.....dating included...

I know two gals that I would consider friends. One is 30 years older than me, and the other one is a butch dyke. I have never had a sexual interest in either of them, and the feeling is definitely reciprocated. I would go to hell and back for both of them though, they are like family to me.

Oh, I think a lot of us would have understood the definitions just fine- we just called them different names. And if we were really doing 'em, we kept it quiet more often than not. Today, there'd be a video posted somewhere.
