Merry Christmas Dan, I don't remember how the tradition started at our house, but we will eat Christmas dinner and then open presents. My dad used to eat real slow and drive us crazy. I have been doing it to my boys ever since they were little.

We used to do the same when I was a kid. My kids are grown and 3 of 4 live elsewhere, (but were just waiting for 1) so we do it Xmas morning when they get up and come over

Well, we're the 'your, mine and ours' crew. Mine are the 23,25, hers are the 22,24. But we've been together since they were 4,5,6,7 so it was a challenging life to say the least.
