EXACTLY! I think most of those idiots that drive like that are oblivious to the traffic around them and usually have a puzzled look when people that finally get around them flip them off.

I would not be the least bit surprised if 80% or more of road rage incidents on major highways start with a left lane hog blocking the lane for miles and refusing to let others move past. It is obviously one of the primary reasons people have road rage on highways.

I run into this every single day on my commute down I-95. At least 10 assholes every morning and 10 different assholes every evening going 65 or less in a 55 mph zone in the left lane and wondering why people are giving them the finger, cutting them off, brake checking them, etc.

These are the most dangerous drivers on the highway. They're contributing directly to untold numbers of road rage incidents and then act innocent.

I'm of firm belief that going in the left lane of a 2-4 lane highway for more than a mile--at less than 10 over the limit--should be an automatic $1,000 fine for "hindering the flow of traffic".

Nothing contributes more to highway accidenta than morons disrupting the flow of traffic.
