Even Seiko is upping their game. Sure, they still have the pedestrian stuff, but they discontinued the classic SKX divers and have been working the upscale angle. They are making some really nice stuff.

Check out some of the JDM dealers like Seiya Japan to see the "real" Seiko offerings, including Grand Seiko (arguably as good if not better than Rolex)

It's your money, and can't take it with you.

I've bought 5, and I'm calling it quits for this year.

It's just a stainless model, but it does the job.

There was a beautiful green face and bezel Date Just (IIRC) a few years ago I was lusting over, but couldn't come up with the scratch.
I love that Sub though, gorgeous!

Solid gold is very pretentious, the two tone is much more subtle. I like my watch VERY much. I want a Daytona.
I love my Daytona.

Surprised the hell outta me when my wife got that for me for Christmas years ago.

Here are my 3 watches: The Daytona, Tag Heuer Sea Racer, and Doxa 600T Dirk Pitt edition (I wanted an original).

I also have a Garmin for running and cycling and a Casio digital meant for diving that I wear as a backup for my dive computer.
