Default Solo roadtrip? Where to go?
Thinking about skipping town, dont know where to go though. I'd be kicking it solo, so not sure how much fun that would be. Im in houston.

Was thing about..

NOLA (never been)
Austin (meh.)
Shreveport (never been)
Memphis (Im hungry)
Pensacola (only driven through)

Any Ideas? Should I just keep my dumb ass at home because it will be boring wandering around a strange city?

Because you have never been, NOLA. Also, don't waste too much time on bourbon street. Take in some of the other things. If you like jazz, go to where the locals go. I cannot remember the street now. It is near Legions.

I take solo road trips all the time.
I'm taking one next month to Athens GA for a music festival.
planning to visit some forum members along the way

I did the same thing last year. 9 days on the road, to TX and back, visiting along the way....
