Default Do you have any travel requests with work?
My official job does not involve travel, however I volunteer with Internal Audit when I can just to get some exposure to other aspects and locations of my company.

My one rather odd request is I'd like to avoid California. I have no problems traveling alone to just about anywhere, but California just doesn't seem like a place where I could relax or find just about anybody to get along with/enjoy a beer with.

My boss asked me about it today, I guess I can't rationalize it or explain it, but that's me.

What about ya'll?

I traveled 50-80% of the time from the late 80's onward. Now I'm finally down to just a few trips a month. No requests coming from me for more travel.

You should give California a try. It's a great place to visit, then leave to fly back home.

They keep trying to send me there and I keep doing everything I can to avoid it... although I am not nearly powerful enough to actually refuse to go anywhere.
