A few years ago, a restuarant nearby had all you can eat crab legs every tuesday night for 20 bux. i got to where I, and mutual friends were showing up every tuesday.
I think it lasted something like a month. Then,.......no more.

but I love them steamed crabs.

Give me a big 'ole pile of steamed crabs...a bucket of ice cold long-necks...and a ball game on in the background...some hot humid Balwmer summer evening...and a handful of good friends...

I was at a place in Mt. Vernon, MO that had an all you could eat seafood bar, along with my wife and another couple (Bob and his wife.) Bob wanted to go there, so off we went. They literally kicked us out of the restaurant and told us to never come back. Bob and I ate, and I'm not exaggerating, enough plate-fulls of food to fill up 12 bus tubs with dirty plates. And he was about 8:1 over me. This is the same guy who invited me over to his house for burgers. When I got there he had about 60 burgers piled up on a plate, like a bunch of 1/4 lb meteorites (he liked them burned up I guess.) I asked him who else was coming over. Uh, just you two. His wife said she made me 10 and that Bob usually eats about 30 to 40. And he did. No bun, just ketchup.

WTF?

I ate two I think, my wife one. And if you looked at Bob, you'd have thought he was on a diet. Skinny as a rail back then.
