Sweet Coke Sauce
24oz Ketchup
1 pint Chili sauce 2 tblspn Fresh ground pepper 1 tspn Cinnamon 1 tblspn Oregano 1 cup Dark Brown Sugar 2 tblspn Mustard 16oz Coke I think this sauce went slightly better with the seasoned chicken. The rub was spicy, then this sweet sauce came in. I'm going to go just a touch lighter on the cinnamon next time though. I also used Coke Zero, because that's what I had at home. |

I'd suspect real Coke over Coke Zero would make a big difference just due to the sugar cooking down and not just the "Coke" flavoring.
Interesting though. |
