Does this bolt down to your concrete slab? 230 lbs? Sure it might deter a casual quick in-and-out thief, but at 230 lbs, it would be within the realm of possibility that a thief might just drag the whole safe out, especially if they have an appliance dolly.

I was thinking the same thing. A safe that can be moved easily with a heavy dolly isn't "a safe". It's a portable gold mine for thieves.

It'll probably weigh more like 500lbs once the ammo and everything else is in it.
No, it's not fire proof, but, I don't plan on having a fire.

I got it.
Like I said, for $260.00 it's great... It's a deterrent like anything else. Nothing is thief proof.... If they want your shit bad enough, they'll get it, one way or another....
I like it, and that's pretty much what matters in this case.....

Well, it looks big enough to stash a 4' 11" hispanic chick in without fold marks.

It's going to protect fine against smash and grab thieves and children/guests.

If anchored it will protect against more determined thieves.

Any thieves that come in with time and tools will get through.

And it's pretty much going to do nothing for you in the case of a fire.

It's better than nothing, and at that price it's not a bad option to at least get some protection.

Quick review I just read that the door is heavy enough to tip the safe if it's not anchored and you aren't careful...

I would not trust it to hold valuables, but for ammo or gun "parts" it would be just fine. In fact, it would be a really nice ammo cabinet.

I would refer to it more as a bad assed locker or cabinet before I called it a 'Safe".

But, it is well worth the $$$.

Not true.
The door is at a 90° angle right now and it's not gonna tip. I even put pressure on the end of the door, and no way is it gonna tip.

Dam my safe weights 1400 and I bolted it down on bottom and back side. (it’s mounted tight to a inside corner to make long bar tools hard to use!)

In my work I was always moving boilers, air compressor, sterilizers ETC and even something as heavy as my safe moves with 2 people real easy with either a carpet or a few pieces of 1'' pipe for rollers.

Bolt it down!
