I took a trip up to the Parker River Wildlife Refuge a few days ago and got a few good shots.

Using a Canon 40D with a 400mm L series lens, hand held, no tripod. Most of the shots are taken in raw and then edited in Lightroom. The Mallards and Harrier were taken on the shore of an inlet at Hellcat. It's a section of the Parker River Wildlife Refuge on Plum Island in Newburyport, MA. The Blue Heron was a bird I spotted driving down the road in Holliston, MA one day so I pulled into the next street and took a few pics. The egret and swallow were taken from a dock in Greenwich Bay, RI. The Cormorant was taken from a rubber dinghy in a small inlet further up Greenwich Bay called Apponaug.
