Well that SUCKS!....not only did the Jays get skunked, so did I. Very prophetic...

In my coon trap this morning I was greeted by a little black and white Pepi Le Pewwww!
I'm getting good at releasing them and not getting sprayed but this little bugger was nervous and I saw a few drops come out of the hind end as he scampered away. I think only a drop or two got on my throw cover (an old sheet), but that was enough to get on my hands and sweatshirt as I uncovered the trap...

That's what I should put inside the transom of my boat, skunk scent for hunters. I'm not using the boat anyway, and it would keep the coons out for sure! (we need a light bulb smilie for ideas)

I wonder how long that crap lasts??

Now that I've froze my ass off cleaning the varmint cage, (skunk dug up all the grass he could reach and tried to make a nest in the thing. Nice square patch of dirt where lawn used to be.) I think it's time to make turkey soup that I've been putting off all week.

I was outside using the hose and there were snow flakes falling!
