It is small secretive and new enough that no one questions much about it. My guess is their budget goes mostly into the "I know NOTHING!!!!" fund... like Ukraine.

Let me help.

The Space Force was a budgetary move that was instigated long ago, but only came into reality when the three star at Space Command (Hyten) was able to convince congress that space was important enough to have its own budget authority, independent of the USAF at the Joint Chief level.

I absolutely believe that Space needs to be separated as an individual AOC having worked the area and seen the very unique requirements and limits.

I will say that I worked with MANY of the seniors of SF, before and after creation. Some were the best officers I ever met, and some, even at the O6 level were weak. These were all previous AF space command folks as it may be the most genetically pure organization by previous assignment I've ever seen.

They will be killed by Group Think, as clearly exhibited in these videos.

I worked with that three-star DO that espouses this path. I had no idea. She was an O6 and her husband was an O5. Nice coattails!
