i recall i had to brand that bottom several times, the wood is thin, and kept bowing and not getting good contact with the branding iron. finally figured out that i had to rest it on a block of wood (i think i clamped a 2x4 in my vise) to get good contact. hard to see it on the dark walnut.

today, i just made a mess in the shop. kinda between projects presently. working on tiling the bedroom, and once that is done, then i need to finish building our new bed (mostly done, still needs a few parts and then stain and poly coats.).

i could use a little side project while i wait for thinset to cure. don't have much wood in stock presently, but i know where to get some easy enough.

just started the bike, yea i own it but hate that i cry if i need to ride it, freaking knees suck
very painful indeed

eh, 5th out of 13. last stage killed my results, incurred 13 seconds of various penalties. if you back those out, i would have been 2nd overall. stages 1-3 I was 3rd, 4th, and 5th, but 10th in stage 4. try again next month.

shooting what others call my little mouse gun: Beretta Px4 compact in 9mm. only has a 3.26" barrel, but i carry it everyday, and mostly shoot it well. everyone else was shooting full size pistols.

fingers have no feeling that is another reason i hardly ride the bike, but its paid for and i really don't need to sell it, i know i should so someone can enjoy it, hell even the corvette i haven't even started yet, but they are as people say
