Did you have the correct torque values on the rear axle? The top pic shows the cutout on the caliper bracket that is supposed to keep the bracket in the correct orientation.

Are there marks on the inside of the swingarm showing it was assembled correctly?

Oh, one more thing. As a fellow motorcyclist, Never ride faster than your guardian angel can fly.

I would remove that cube valve cap and replace it with a simple one. I have seen instances where the centrifugal force caused by the spinning wheel caused the valve stem to bend over from the weight and break the stem causing sudden, catastrophic loss of air. Not a good thing.

Holy Hell you're lucky. That could have gone bad in a big hurry. My roaring around days are behind me. When I ride now, (Which is often) it's a leasurly putt.

Besides, both my bikes are Harleys. They don't really go fast.

Stupidity might be a good explanation (been guilty myself). Glad you're O.K. though. Did you check over the work to make sure it was done right this time and have you looked into track time if you want to keep testing your luck?

That is scary, could have snapped and broke the rear apart.

I had to laugh a little at the "cut me off" part though.

Don't all those bikes come in crates and require some assembly?

I would go to the shop where it was purchased from and demand that a master tech fix it (free parts and labor).
