Default Jag E Type

I always thought these were among the most sexy things to be ever shaped out of sheet metal. Not sure why with the resto that they made it look like it had lips, but regardless, still a sexy beast.

Painting the opening of the grill red like that was a goofy choice. Makes it look comical.

That is what I thought. Otherwise, it is jam up. Gotta ask myself "why"?

Doesn't Spence have an E Type? A guy by the name of J.C. Painter had a British racing green coupe that he drove when I was a kid. I remember pouring over that thing in the church parking lot every Sunday.

Agreed. Did Jaguar ever do something like that? Did a race team do it? I've loves those cars for years. Neighbor has one; British Racing Green with tan interior and top. We go for drives in the country together occasionally.

I got my love of Vettes from Dad, but Mom was always a Jag fan...especially of the E types. She's had a few S types, XFs, etc...but made a recent switch to the F Pace as she's getting on in years and has an easier time getting in/out of an SUV.

That 'fish lips' paint job, although atrocious IMHO, is actually seen on some race cars, so not uncommon.

This '73 12cyl. was at a local auction last year. I went preview day, but didn't go to see what things sold for.

If I could find a hot GILF with one of these and a couple of Vettes, I would learn to cook and sew, snuggle during Lifetime movies, and pop Cialis like Flintstones vitamins.
