Free roaming feline here, she will wake you up when hungry but she is on my schedule so no issues.

They roam and don't get in to too much trouble.

Mine gets locked in the basement overnight because he is incapable of learning to stay off the kitchen counters.

Edit: I voted yes, but not because he keeps me awake, it's because he's stupid

Fuzz has no restrictions inside the house. She gets to go in and out during the day if I'm home, but not at night. If I'm working, she'll go out for an hour or two when I get home, but she has to be in before it gets dark. We have an understanding.

My cats and dogs go in and out the dog door whenever they want. Bedroom doors are closed at night so that's the only places they can't get to. They are generally good at night but I've found the occasional dismembered rabbit in the mornings.

I've heard most people only lock up their cats after smoking a joint with their mothers and sucking down an entire box...a whole ****ing box...of Franzia.

All right so dvap is the new self elected cat expert, please do tell Fred, how are you going to train Siamese kittens to go against their natural instinct and not be curious?
