Default CTS-V Wagon is for sale

I know I just got it a few months ago but a car came along that I just can't pass up... which means that the wagon has to go.

I'm asking $43,500. Make me an offer... pass it along to your friends. Help me out and I may just be inclined to toss a referral fee your way.

Because who doesn't want a 200mph, 556hp station wagon, right??

Located near Cincy, Ohio

It has the Recaro seats, Ultraview, Automatic, and Midnight Sapele wood trim

The car is a nice day daily driver/baby hauler (truck gets driven on not-nice days), not a show queen. It's completely stock driveline, 57k miles. Engine has never been modded, tuned, etc. I am the 2nd owner. The first was a retiree couple who used it to cruise around on road trips. Clean title, no stories.

The paint is not perfect but looks good for a 50k mile car. There are a few rock chips, minor scratches, etc. The entire nose has had a clear bra on it since new so it SHOULD be perfect underneath. The seats look great. No tears or anything like that.

It has nearly brand new Continental DWs (1500 miles at most)
2 Brand new rear shocks, installed by dealer
Window tint is about a year old
Diff was just serviced at 50k miles and is perfect
Brand new Hawk Ceramic pads (<500 miles). Have ~50% OEM pads to go with it as well.
Passenger side seat track was just replaced a week ago because they like to break.
All 3 pieces of the splitter are about 2 months old. They were looking a little rough so they were replaced.
Never belonged to a smoker, always garage kept and all of that good stuff.

Good luck with the sale. The wagons are a unique market.

I'm actually getting another wagon. I would love to keep them both but the wife would kill me.

I'd be interested, if I hadn't just bought a new car two days ago.

I might be in the market in 6 months. Just curious, what kind of real world MPG does it get?

HOPEFULLY it isn't still around in 6 months!

I have never seen a car so dependent on how you drive it. If you put it in "regular" mode and drive it in a fairly conservative manner I see somewhere around 20 combined with most of that being country road miles. Not too terrible for a 556hp, 4300lb car.

If you put it in "sport" mode and drive like an asshole it gets about the same mileage as an oil well fire.

That is a real sleeper. If I never saw this thread I would have never known the power it had.
I would have been summarily shocked when my 525i was eaten alive by one.

Did the pending sale happen ?

I would have been all over that if it had the 6-spd

Never owned a 4 door, this might have been the first!

The pending sale is looking good. Have a sizable part of the $$ and he's planning on picking it up in 2 weeks. (coming from ATL) So far so good.

6 speed? You mean like the 1 that is replacing it in the garage?

It has the man pedal.

Definitely 1 of the most fun cars I have driven
