Friend called from hospital just a bit ago getting IV antibiotics, he was at an appointment getting brain testing stuff done for seizures and got sick as a dog he said, found out it was Sepsis. Two years ago he had blood poisoning and those meds for whatever he had were a tad rough, like the IV starts and you hurl right off. Repeat 2 or 3 times a day for 3 days think it was, did it at home thankfully.
I swear he's had so much shit wrong this year, every time he goes to a dr appt he gets sick too and there's been 20 to 30 in a month. Just had CT scan and MRIs yesterday, want more CT scans next week check pancreas but it's more than likely just sarcoidosis spreading. They haven't found anything cancerous since the polyps and they been checking everything (already had throat cancer few years ago).
Some days I really don't know how he handles all this stuff, guess you do what have to do.

Hope he's getting heavy antibiotics for the Sepsis, that was the cause of my mom's death.

Oh yes and while waiting more tests have been ordered to confirm for cancerous nodules on liver I guess. That fukr can't catch a break.

Hasn't smoked in 20 years or more now i bet from copd and sarcoidosis. Heavy drinker yes but seldom the last 15 years really as the meds he's on and Alcohol bad for liver. They've had to stop all his meds for a month or longer 2 times in the past, have dialysis and liver came back around.
He's on immune suppression drugs for sarcoidosis so he gets sick super easy, last blood infection was from blood work draw almost guaranteed, same with this one. Had IV and blood work done this week and whammo, always hits him within a day or two. He gets exposed to something and sick next day usually.

Just told me Dr was gonna come in get him ready to have liver surgery and put on transplant list, what the ****. Literally it's been 2 hours since they ordered the tests(which haven't been done) to comfirm it. More than likely it's sarcoid again as after every lung scan they freak out because it show up. It's often mistaken for cancer because it's shows the same on scans, been doing this every time for a decades over it. They'll call back and want 200 other scans then his main dr says no its sarcoid. It does spread and we know it has and that's 99% chance what they saw but don't think any of them have a clue what sarcoidosis looks like, they jump the gun always.
He about had a heart attack.
He's leaving come hell or high water when IV done...
Making appt for main sarcoid guy as scans were for him anyway.

Went to work this morning.

I didn’t really mean it and then I went back to wasting time on the Internet like I was a minimum wage part timer.

It was sunny and nice out today.

Sepsis killed my brother in 2019. He was diabetic and had diminished feeling in his legs. He had an infected cut on his leg he didn't even realize was there. By the time he realized it his legs were oozing. 10 days later he was gone, took out all his major organs.

High dose IV vitamin C is the cure for sepsis.

Hospitals won’t do it because it’s not a drug that the pharmaceutical industry Profits enough on.
