dude, I can tell you, I jumped on a flight out of philly at 6 am on a Friday to Miami last minute with no reservations. grabbed a rental car and headed toward key west. jumped online and found a room while the girl drove to key west. you can always find a room, just do it. if I don't rent a room I stay here. https://www.hotels.com/ho476209/?q-c...=6&ZSX=0&SYE=3

sangria at the desk when you check in. great pool, bar, near the waterfront. ten to fifteen minute walk to the beach.

We have a winner here.

I just looked up booking St Thomas.
Way too complicated on short notice because I just don’t know what the hell I’m doing right now.

Gonna jump on a plane this Sunday morning and figure it out then.

you can grab cheap flights to Miami or ft Lauderdale. they aren't that far apart. from there its an easy drive to key largo, Islamorada, marathon. big pine then key west a bit further depending on traffic. you should be able to find a room this time of year. I just hop online to hotels dot com, hotels tonight or another service and see what they have when I do last minute jaunts. if you go to key west, find fort zack beach. there is a hut with cocktails.
