The Soju Experience. A known fact of causing hallucinations for some folks. Case in point, four people playing quarters with a couple of combat bottles direct from Korea. A combat bottle is the big bottle. So, there we were. Me, my buddy, his gf, and the sister of the gf. My gf at the time wanted no part of Soju and the game. The game was quarters and we polished off one combat bottle and started another. Yet, we didn't make it through the second one. Why? Well, the sister of the gf was on the floor crying and babbling. She was babbling, "Take care of my kids". The hallucination part, she didn't have any kids. And that ended the game.

I'll admit that Jinro is much better than Bohae. Ammo bowls in Osan were loaded with the stuff.

I see they now have fruit flavored Soju available. Soju isn't bad... now that Makgeolli (Makkoli) crap would make you puke!

So true. I lived in Itaewon at the top of Hooker Hill for three years. Remember that one bar that wasn't off limits called Polly's kettle? You'd get a two liter bottle with the top cut off, entire bottle of soju poured inside and mixed with koolaid....a Soju Kettle. Man, that would knock you on your ass in a heartbeat.
