WTF is it with all of these angst and anxiety wracked 20 and 30 somethings? Are they afraid of growing up? By the time I was 30 I had settled on a career path, left home for good and was hoping my now wife was "the one". (She still is by the way.) Most of my childhood traumas were put to sleep, the growing pains from deciding who I wanted to be when I grew up were in the past and the future looked pretty damn inviting; and exciting.
Apparently some great societal paradigm shift happened while I was busy living life to it's fullest for the last 30 years or so. Can anyone out there tell me what happened? |
