Default An Unexpected Little Gift
The every Thursday breakfast group I hang with, usually 10 - 15 of us, meet at local eateries in the region, today's was one of our favorite stops.
Unbekown to us, our regular waitress gave each of us a small wrapped gift.
Everyone liked it.

I don't tip because society says I have to. All right, if someone deserves a tip, if they really put forth an effort, I'll give them something a little something extra. But this tipping automatically, it's for the birds. As far as I'm concerned, they're just doing their job

Most waiters and waitresses receive a very low hourly rate and rely on the tips, duh....Oy Vey.....
