Sweet Jesus is sometimes confused with Jam Jesus because they look exactly alike.

In the Early 21st century Hershey’s Chocolate Company came up with a controversial yet delicious new candy treat called the Sweet Jesus. A Sweet Jesus is a chocolate mold of the "Lord and Savior" on the crucifix complete with a raspberry filling. Upon being created Christian Denominations around the world were outraged by the name and implication. "You can't just take a popular swear word and turn it real," an anonymous protestor named Debbie Huff said, "Just because its popular doesn't make it O.K.! They might as well create a Sweet Buddha or a Sweet Allah." Soon after her interview Hershey came up with the counterpart Sweet Buddha and Sweet Mohamed.

But the controversy did not stop there. One of the protestors main complaints was that the image printed on the package was that of a Cartoon Jesus smiling while the Romans took big bites out of him saying, "mmm, mmm, that's a SWEET JESUS!" Another was that the KKK found that fact the Chocolate, Cream filled Jesus was Chocolate implicating that Jesus was Black or at least Middle Eastern. This enraged the Triple K's so much that they organized a sleep in at the Hershey's Chocolate Factory until they changed it to White Chocolate.

Now, in the year 2030, everyone has the ability to eat a Sweet Jesus of their choosing. -Solid Chocolate -Chocolate Cream Filled -White Chocolate -Sweet Jesus with Almonds -Sweet Jesus with Nuts or the Bran New Sweet Jesus Energy Bar!

Each Flavor in your own customizable Deity!

Stayed the night near Hershey, PA - stopped off at the Peeps Store in Bethlehem, and then I wanted to go visit my Grandad's old farm in Green Village - we are now staying near Morristown, NJ for the night - off to Boston in the morning.

If y'all are visiting various breweries in the vicinity...I highly recommend RiverHorse in Lambertville, over the river from New Hope PA....Highly recommend Triple Horse and Summer Blonde....Enjoy your trip!!!

Really? I was going to suggest skipping it. Its 2 rooms with a boring speech followed by some beer tasting. Sure you get some free beer and a cup, but I didn't think it was worth the wait and the yawner tour.

Boston beer works has a whole bunch of beers on tap that are worth trying.


I don't know when yall will be coming through CT, but ALMS and World Challenge are at Lime Rock this weekend.
