At the moment Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated in Memphis at the Lorraine Motel, there was a '1966 Big Block Corvette parked under the balcony in the parking lot, where MLK was shot. Just seconds later, it was gone. There is video footage I can show to prove this....

Who had the means to buy a Vette, in that circle? Who was the Corvette owner? Why did the car kinda disappear so quickly? And most important, where is this highly significant car today!

Rob, maybe you can try to track down a lead or two? I would travel there in a second if it was found!

Been ready. Early 1980's I lived in Saginaw during the economic recession/crack epidemic. Quite the experience, if you can survive it.

I wouldn't say respect has anything to do with it. This is just a catch word unintelligent use to explain something that is too complicated or time consuming for them to put into words. If respect had anything to do with it that would mean they care what others think and I can assure you that is definitely not the case It's all about what they themselves feel, not others.

Feelings are hard to put into words. If I had to try I'd say it's a combination of an instinctual motivation for freedom and survival which a person takes upon themselves to defend. It's self-enforced personal rights. They become judge, jury, and executioner. There's zero consideration for law because those are just words somebody else wrote on a piece of paper and that can't bring you back to life after you're dead. Anyone can write words on a piece of paper, so what? It's meaningless. Prison is no deterrent because they can and will remain free within their mind. It's no change to their circumstance.

Reporter wasn't smart. You're either responsible for your own safety or you're not. Those are the choices. Well, I suppose you could be lucky, but I'm not a gambler. Maybe he was feeling lucky?

Badly outdated and liberal controlled justice system. Some dude recently arrested in Atl. had over 90 previous arrest. Just a revolving door. Memphis was so cool throughout history and now like other major urban conclaves...a cesspool.

One issue I see (hear) all too often when speaking to friends that still live there, is the way they speak about other races. At one time I thought I may need to move back to the Memphis area to be closer to my Mom as she is getting older and could use some help with things around the house.

I contacted an acquaintance that works in real estate to ask about the market and what she thought about a certain area we were considering outside of town. The response immediately made up my mind that there was no way in hell I would let my kids grow up in an area that people still do not know how to act.

I love my Mom, but she understands that I have to do what is right for my kids by keeping them away from the hate that is so ingrained in all of people in west Tennessee.

Looking at that video, you can see a wreath on the door. That would not have been placed on that door so fast unless everyone on the balcony knew he was going to be shot on that day/time.

This footage was likely taken several days after the event considering there is no police tape around the area as well.

The murder being reported upon had happened a number of hours before. There were a number of TV crews on site and reporting it. The Orlando Hero walked by a couple of the crews to a crew that was inside their van and working there. He shot the reporter and cameraman and kept going. The other news crews called 9/11 and rendered first aid.

We can only hope that Ben Crump will quickly arrive to protect this young an from all the local racist hatred and established social justice for him. The marches will block the streets, the family will be crying for justice on TV and the local leaders will give rousing speeches about the miscarriages of justice against him. Because that's what happens in Orange County to people who kill. Let's not forget Casey Anthony, the memory of the Pulse shooter and countless others that never made the news.

Florida is a cesspool.
