I'll do as I always do, vote for who I want in the primary, then vote against the Democrat in the general.

I used to do that until I realized that you lose out on the opportunity to send a message, no matter how weak, to the GOP on who they really should be supporting.

I have a similar philosophy on races where the candidate is unopposed. Unless I really like them; know them personally (like my congress rep, Foxx) I'll leave that box unchecked. My message is that I don't want the unopposed candidate to be too comfortable.

I'm with Yadkin. When I was an independent, I had no real voice. Much better as a card-carrying Republican. I used to vote both parties, but that was 20 years or more ago when there was a dialog and the Dems weren't total socialist traitors. Now, it's Republican only. No exceptions.
