On most of the civil forums I visit, it would have prompted others to share their own stories about similar situations & events.

I have had experiences like that recently with old girlfriends that are on facebook, & there is a tangible feeling you have when
you evaluate the then & now & ponder on your path in life.

Anyway, this comment wasnt derived solely on the continuously lousy treatment of a good Conservative man-Yadkin,
it is about what I have seen on this site as a very off putting pattern of hostility that is freely exercised by a few folks who
think they are still the A crowd in high school .

Some find the need to be in that "A" clique. Look at the references to "we". Then there's the anonymity that comes with the internet, and how it brings out the worst in folks. In my opinion it brings out their true self that they likely keep hidden in real life.

I have long decided not to be part of that clique or be offended by such folk.
