After-glow [BR II]

Since there's a pic thread already; I'm interested in everyones thoughts on how that went?

I didn't attend BR 1, and can only compare II with past CF-CI's. The two main improvements I noticed was...

* there weren't a bunch of different cliques spaced about the hotel parking lot... staying to themselves. Instead, there was one general area where the mass seemed to congregate.

* the BR mods were out & about with the masses. This - to me - was very

Having been to 8 cruise ins...I really enjoyed how everyone was mingling with everyone. There was no Chicago corner, etc...we all seemed so unified and I loved it! It was a great mix of personalities. Love you guys!

I wasn't there, but my main impression was that there was waaay too much man sex going on.......Jus sayin.....

Something else, I don't have a problem with this event being held at the NCM/Bowling Green. I mean, it is the worlds center for Corvettes; plenty to do... a lot of participation from the NCM, Hotel, and places that gave us tours.

CF-CI's didn't peter-out due to the fact it was held in BG every year; we all know why CF failed this time...

Next time, I should invite 50 hostesses with the mostess from the nearby Red Light District. Of course, I would be responsible for at least a coupla divorces, freaks coming out that no one expected, and folks waking up with more women in bed than usual.

The humidity was what killed me last time I was at CI. Of course, it's all relative. At the time, I had been living in AZ for several years.

Maybe we can consider an earlier spring or autumn date...???

I think the three day weekend helps some to attend.

It's a crapshoot with the weather. We'd had years it rained all weekend.. tornado's and one year I don't thing the temp got over 60. I don't remember more than 1 perfect weekend.

I think we should mix the rules with the golf cart racing ones. The "Drivers" (in the cart) call out directions to the ones outside the cart actually pushing it around but are blindfolded.
The "Driver" also has to have a beer in their hand and full spillage results in a DNF.

This was an absolute OUTSTANDING event! We are a great family and we must have our reunions! Can't wait for next year.

It's so nice to be back to "looking forward" to the next year.

We weren't able to pull it off this year, but the idea of a dunk tank in the parking lot for an evening was tossed around. Possibly as a fundraiser for the NCM, after the cost of the rental is covered...but I don't think there would be a problem with covering that cost. Especially if we get some female volunteers for the tank.
