Default It's been a hell of a week for the wife.
So Tuesday the wife finds out her ex-husband has colon cancer. Only a few months to live.
Wednesday afternoon on the way back from Florida passing through Defuniak she hydroplanes and crashed her car. She is okay, neck hurts a litttle, but the QX4 is toast. Put new tires and rebuilt the rear suspension less than 2k miles ago. New touch screen unit, back up camera, everything on it worked including ice cold ac. This afternoon about four her younger sister passed. She had a liver transplant two years ago. A few weeks back she wasn't feeling well. As days passed she got worse. Turns out she had a massive infection of some sort. They flew her to Memphis a couple of days ago but she couldn't fight it off. April was only forty two.
And there is two days left...

Wow, sorry to hear about all that. Unless there were kids involved with the ex, that should be a nothingburger, she survived the accident and hopefully will be OK, but losing her sister is the thing that is going to really hurt her, I can't even imagine.

Just be there for her, she's going to need to lean on you for a long time.

Damn, that is a rough week. My wife lost her sister a few years ago. She was only 56 and had a brain tumor. She was the youngest in the family, which really males you think about your own mortality.

Bought her another one last night. 1999 Villager (Quest sister), 88k miles. looks, runs, and drives like a new one. It will do until I can find her another QX4.
